"Cinerama is unstoppable" by Anna Boulogne

“Cinerama is a timeless cinema in Rotterdam and you can not miss its brightly lit letters. The light coming from its entrance draws you in and brings you back in time. In this illustration I have depicted Cinerama’s warmth and added a personal touch, drawing my sister Malu and I at the counter, with our Cineville passes ready, and my sister Nadja arriving a bit late, on her blue bike.“

Anna Boulogne is an illustrator based in Rotterdam. She grew up in Brussels, but has been sticking around in Rotterdam after moving here to study illustration in 2018, and has been working here as a freelance illustrator ever since. Anna’s work is delicate and funky. Embracing quick strokes and colourful compositions, her illustrations aim to resonate a sense of calm. She focuses on editorial illustration, but when she is not drawing for editorial clients, you can find her drawing the people dear to her in her life - or in the cinema.
