"Synth Floating Pavilion" by Claudia Agostinho

"I’ve always been curious about those floating, portable spheres on the Maas. Dutch architecture isn’t just about keeping the sea out anymore. It's about embracing the water and adapting to new ways of living as sea levels rise. The first time I visited Het Drijvend Paviljoen (the Floating Pavilion) was for a screening at the Roffa Mon Amour festival, and I remember how magical it felt to watch a film inside such a building. Nowadays, you can find the Drijvend Paviljoen in Dokhaven.”

Claudia Agostinho is a Portuguese creative based in Rotterdam. With a background in filmmaking, she has always been drawn to storytelling, perspective, light, and movement. That same sensibility flows into her current work in illustration and motion design.
