"Always in Transit" by Paula Esteve

"This artwork captures the ever-shifting form of Centraal Station, a metallic gateway where light dances and reflections change with every step. Depending on where you stand, it becomes something new.
For me, it is a place of greetings and farewells, where I’ve welcomed loved ones and said final goodbyes. It holds the rhythm of the city: always moving, always changing. Like legs in motion, it never stands still."

Paula Esteve is a creative designer and illustrator specializing in visual identities that blend both disciplines. Originally from Spain and currently based in Oud-Rotterdam, her work weaves together playful visuals, bursts of color, and a sense of curiosity inspired by nature, community, and life’s small, unexpected joys.
Since 2024, she has also facilitated creative workshops for children, expanding her practice into education and engagement.
