"Kapsalon op z’n Vega" by Gözde Eyce

"I’ve been a Rotterdammer for years, but I’ve only had Kapsalon a handful of times. As a vegetarian, it’s not always easy to find a good one! A while back, I checked out an exhibition at Museum Rotterdam, where Kapsalon was on display as a true piece of local culture. I loved the story behind it—how it went from a simple food order to a late-night craving, an iconic hangover snack, fueling wild nights and unforgettable memories. Now, I want to draw Kapsalon because it’s more than just food—it’s a Rotterdam legend. And its home? Right here in our Roffa!"
