"Zet Je Geld Waar Je Kont Is" (Put Your Money Where Your Butt Is) by Soňa Flajžíková

This screen print honors one of Rotterdam’s most iconic sculptures – Santa Claus by Paul McCarthy. Installed at Eendrachtsplein, its central location makes it impossible to miss. Love it or hate it, you won’t forget it! More importantly, the sculpture sparks dialogue about art, culture, and societal norms, showcasing how public art challenges conventions and engages communities. It reflects the open-minded, humorous nature of Rotterdammers and fits perfectly in a city known for edgy architecture and an experimental spirit.

Soňa is a creative designer from Slovakia specializing in branding, with a focus on visual identity. Alongside her professional work, she develops a personal art project called Sonda & Sin, where she creates limited-edition screen prints and graphics, and explores both digital and print media. In 2021, Soňa embarked on a new chapter, beginning an exciting journey in Rotterdam.
