"Secret Submarine" by Art Studio Jet (Mariëtte Scholtens - de Jongh)

Every time I cycle through Rotterdam I see a new cool building that I want to work on. On this cover you can find my interpretation of the STC building. This cool building has been on my drawing bucket list for a long time. It always reminds me of the top of a submarine in a cartoon (with those eyes on top). Well, there is no lack of imagination, let’s just say ;)

Mariëtte is a visual artist and illustrator, based in the heart of Rotterdam. She is the face behind art studio jet. She is fascinated by architecture and likes to give objects a playful / cartoonish twist. This is also reflected in her many iconic city prints. In addition to designing cool buildings, she also likes to make illustrations for companies.
