"Gefluister naar het Depot" (Whispers to the Depot ) by Paula Esteve
This artwork represents the winds of Rotterdam, symbolized by a woman blowing into the ‘Depot’ building. It is inspired by the ‘Myth of Persephone,’ where her time split between the Underworld and her mother, Demeter, causes the changing seasons. Demeter’s joy brings growth, while her sorrow brings cold and emptiness.
Paula Esteve is a visual artist & designer from Alcoi, Spain, now based in Rotterdam. She creates engaging visuals for eco-conscious brands, children's projects, and businesses with a focus on sustainability, nature, and food. Together with the client, she translates their vision into a unique and substantial design and/or illustration.
